Being Stoma Aware Matters

This Saturday is our Stoma Aware day and the theme is ‘Being Stoma Aware Matters’.

It matters because it helps to tackle prejudice and discrimination, which in turn reduces isolation and loneliness; empowering people to live life to the fullest.

Over 200,000 people in the UK live with a stoma, that’s  1 in 335 of us.
