Colostomy Association attends London Ambulance Service Wellbeing Day
02 November, 2016
Jackie Dudley who is one of our volunteers, went along to a special London Ambulance Service Wellbeing Day in October. It was very worthwhile, as she was able to raise awareness of the Colostomy Association and the work that we do helping and supporting ostomates. Around 170 personnel attended, including First Responders and ambulance crews. Jackie was told that stabbings are sadly a high cause of stomas in the London area. The event was also attended by Mind, Macmillan, Alzheimers and Diabetes UK.
