 For the first 31 years of my life, I was living a ‘normal’ life. Working, going out, travelling, playing music and, though I didn’t give it any thought at the time, going to the toilet once a day.

The last weekend of April saw thousands of people across the Country take part in activities at home or while social distancing outside to raise much needed funds for charities including Colostomy UK.

Today is World IBD Day.
Around 2000 people in the UK with Crohn’s disease or Colitis undergo surgery each year, resulting in either temporary or permanent stoma formation…
