With surgical and medical advances meaning that stoma surgery is increasingly seen as a temporary measure, the subject of reversal surgery is set to remain topical for the foreseeable future. The outcome of reversal surgery often varies on the person and many people experience both ups and downs. What happens when there are more downs than ups and the result isn’t as expected?
