Emily is a professional carer and also has a stoma. Last week she attended one of our ‘Caring for a person with a stoma’ workshops in Oswestry which was delivered in partnership with the B.O.T.S stoma support group.

Michael Valentin is a professional boxer. He’s also had a stoma since birth. Aged nineteen he’s won all six of his fights.
In April he joined Team Colostomy UK. In this exclusive interview Michael tells us about his life with a stoma and how he dreams of being a World Champion.

In February last year he grabbed the world’s attention when after his fourth win as a professional boxer he pulled his shorts down to reveal he has a stoma.
This weekend he’s back in the ring and we’re proud to reveal he’ll be fighting as the latest member of Team Colostomy UK
