The upcoming general election provides a great opportunity for Colostomy UK to advocate for the over 200,000 people living with a stoma in the UK by highlighting the issues that matter to you most to politicians while they are in listening-mode. 

Ards and North Down Borough Council has upgraded 44 accessible public toilets across the Borough to become Stoma Friendly.

 Volunteers Week takes place every year from the first Monday of June, but 2024 is particularly special, as this annual event is celebrating its 40th anniversary, having been established in the UK back in 1984.
