From Oban to Dundonnell for the Colostomy Association
09 April, 2015
I am very pleased to report that my 170 mile cycle ride in the Scottish Highlands has been successfully completed!
I must admit I did not think it would take me quite as long as it did but I got there in the end (around 18 hours in the saddle!).
It was a super experience and indeed I learned quite a lot from it, such as not to try out new pathways which involved scaling terrain more suited to mountain goats than a bicycle but all good fun!
Conditions were a little damp and windy on occasion but all good character building, must admit I let out a huge sigh of relief once the final peak was reached and I could freewheel down to the finish point.
Thank you so much for the kind words, encouragement and indeed sponsorship which has made everything so worthwhile.
