Public toilet campaign celebrates success

We are delighted to hear that the Public loos in Pangbourne will reopen next month after being closed for more than two years. We are delighted to hear that the Public loos in Pangbourne will reopen next month after being closed for more than two years. The toilet block in Station Road was closed in May 2015 by West Berkshire Council because the maintenance costs were too high.
But after tireless campaigning by Action for Pangbourne Toilets Community Trust (APT) the toilets will now reopen on Sunday, September 30
The campaign to reopen the public conveniences was supported by The Colostomy Association which raised concerns that people with a colostomy, who are not classed as disabled, would not have the confidence that a public toilet was within easy reach should they need to change their bag.Public loos in Pangbourne will reopen next month after being closed for more than two years.
